Since 1955, Indiana Baptist College has faithfully trained thousands of Christian leaders for the work of the ministry. This continues to be our great passion, to train Christian leaders with a heart for the Lord, for the local church, and for the Great Commission.
The Pastoral Studies major is an extensive ministerial program designed to give the prospective local church pastor the tools that he needs to effectively minister in the twenty-first century.
The Master of Ministry degree is a practical course of study designed to help the Bible college graduate enhance his ministry as a pastor, missionary, or Christian worker.
The PhD program is designed to give the student a focused, rigorous academic training in the areas of Bible and Theology with a balance of general seminary work.
As a ministry training college, our mission is to partner with local churches and pastors around the country and the world in the training of their church members for ministry. While here at IBC students are required to be faithful servants in approved local churches within driving distance of the campus, and our class structure is set up to allow students to be very active in their local church even during the semester.
Faithful to the Old Paths
In the face of a rapidly changing culture, Indiana Baptist College is dedicated to remaining faithful to the old paths. We are committed to decidedly conservative music standards and standards of holiness that show a separation from the world and a dedication to Christ. This commitment to the old paths is closely coupled with a heart of compassion that seeks to reach the lost and make disciples.
Mentoring Faithful Leaders
We are passionate about mentoring the Christian leaders of this generation and the next. We challenge our students to have a heart for God and a manner of life that is worthy to follow. Our faculty is passionate about committing what they have learned to faithful men who shall be able to teach others also.
