Marriage and Family

This course is designed to guide the student through the various responsibilities relating to courtship and marriage from a Biblical perspective. Emphasis is on the Biblical approach to finding and keeping the right lifelong mate. Topics discussed include: courting, engagement, adjustments after marriage, stewardship, parenthood, and divorce.

Introduction to Christian Education

CED 201 | 2 Credit Hours
A survey of the many various educational ministries of the local church. Students are challenged to develop a philosophy of ministry that includes a mentoring approach to discipleship.

Student Success Seminar

CED 105 | 1 Credit Hour
A course designed to help the new student succeed at Indiana Baptist College. It will guide student success in time management, academic pursuits, personal protocol, and personal finances.

Song Leading

CED 103 | 2 Credit Hours
A basic course in the fundamentals of song-leading patterns, techniques of directing, and platform personality. Included is some basic music theory so that the hymnbook is understood. Choral directing is also introduced.

Personal Evangelism

A training course in personal evangelism with an emphasis on doing, rather than on discussion. The students will be motivated to win souls and be equipped for this great task.

Bibliology

BIB 416 | 3 Credit Hours
A thorough examination of the inspiration and preservation of the Bible. A careful assessment of the KJV issues and the history of the English Bible.

Contemporary Theology

BIB 415 | 3 Credit Hours
An examination of current trends in theology in the light of the Word of God. Major emphasis is given to Fundamentalism, Liberalism, Neo-orthodoxy, Existentialism, and Neo-Evangelicalism.

Hebrew History II

BIB 408 | 3 Credit Hours
A comprehensive study of the Jewish nation, beginning with the time of the Judges until the birth of Christ. Archaeological and historical testimony supplementing the Old Testament will be considered.
