EDE 401 | 2 Credit Hours Discussion of current methods and trends in teaching mathematics in the elementary classroom with practical instruction in approaches and methods of teaching math in the elementary classroom. Students will produce units of instruction and daily lesson plans.
EDE 315 | 2 Credit Hours Methods and materials on the elementary level for teaching a Biblical, creation-based approach to science and health. General review of scientific principles is included.

EDE 303 | 2 Credit Hours Methods and ideas for teaching both grammar and composition in the elementary classroom. A particular emphasis will be placed on integrating grammar and composition instruction.

EDE 202 | 2 Credit Hours A history of phonics instruction and a discussion of modern teaching methodology with critical analysis in the light of biblical principles. Also, preparation for teaching and evaluating reading groups, phonics, and class reading.
