An introduction to congregational hymn playing with a focus on the pianist’s attitude, etiquette, song selection, preludes, and invitations. Includes the development of the student’s hymn playing skills with a focus on left hand patterns.

Prerequisites: MUS 201 & 202 and a satisfactory piano audition
