Pastoral & Church Music
“Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God.”– Psalm 50:23
Program Purpose
The ministry of music in the local church is a vital and Scriptural ministry that requires a special course of study. The men who are instructed in this program will be prepared for many facets of the local church music program, and equipped for pastoral ministry in the church. Fifteen hours of Pastoral/Music electives are included in this program to give the student flexibility to emphasize either his pastoral or his musical ministry. Pastoral & Church Music majors must pass music minor platform evaluations in their primary proficiency.
