Pastoral & Church Music
Program Purpose
In many churches today, the pastor not only preaches but is also heavily involved with the church’s music ministry. The Pastoral and Church Music major prepares young men for the many facets of the local church music program while equipping them for pastoral ministry in the church. Fifteen hours of Pastoral/Music electives give the student flexibility to emphasize either his pastoral or his musical ministry. Pastoral and Church Music majors must pass music minor platform evaluations in their primary proficiency.
